Matthew Olsan

Matt Olsan is a Principal with Leeward Real Estate Investments. Matt joined Leeward full time in 2018 after serving as its outside General Counsel since inception. Prior to joining Leeward, Matt practiced real estate law for 20 years specializing in transactional real estate and financing including the leasing of office, retail and industrial properties, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate portfolios, secured and unsecured financing of commercial and residential real estate assets, performing and non-performing loan servicing, property and asset management and structuring joint venture investment vehicles.

Matt is a former Chair of the Real Property Finance Section of the State Bar of California and has spoken and written books on retail leasing. Matt holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and East Asian Languages from the University of Southern California, and a J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings.
