Sonia Sohn Lee
Founder & Principal

Sonia Lee founded Leeward Real Estate Investment, LLC (“Leeward REI”) in 2013 to give investors a profitable place to invest in real estate. Under her strategic direction, Leeward acquires, manages, and repositions a wide-ranging portfolio of multi-family buildings and commercial properties. She brings 15 years of real estate development experience to the acquisitions process, having navigated the building and construction process in various cities. Prior to founding Leeward REI, Sonia developed and built custom multi-million luxury homes throughout the Bay Area. Always looking to learn more, she is currently a member of The Real Estate Guys™ Syndication Mentoring Club Inner Circle.

Sonia was formerly with the National Department of Ernst & Young as tax attorney, advising companies of tax consequences of mergers and acquisitions. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in economics and psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. degree from University of Southern California.
